Me and my partner moved from virgin to O2 last year, my partner did not have a 5g ready phone, but has just brought a new phone that is 5g compatible.
however the phone is still sonly showing 4g and it is still a virgin sim card.

guess my question is, do all plans include 5g if you have a 5g compatible phone? if so how does she connect to 5g? does she need a new sim card?

A 5g O2 sim is required.

Pop into your local O2 store with photo ID.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
