Just want to clarify something about volt benefits. If your a volt member does the mobile data get a double boost permanently or have I understood this incorrectly?

It's permanent whilst you hold contracts with both VM and O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If you cancel o2 then your VM will be downgraded and you may be charged for the regrade.
Cancel VM and your double data will be removed.

See the master thread as well Volt Megaguide

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I’m asking because I was told by someone from virgin media that the mobile data double benefit only applies at certain times for example if your virgin media broadband has gone down. Is this true? No other person told me that nor have I seen this written anywhere. I assumed you get double the data at all times provided you stay with o2 and virgin media. Thanks for clarifying this.
