I recently cancelled as I have never used the sim. I had a lengthy chat about it and they said I wouldn't be charged because I've never used the sim card under my cooling off period. But lo and behold I've been charged £12 for something I've never used and don't want. Unbelievable I should have cancelled my direct debit and I'll do that now.

I would speak to o2 on 0344 809 0202 or via Social Media, and they should be able to refund the £12 for you... Trust me its not just o2 that balls up in this way.
