Hi.

I've had £9 worth of o2 rewards I needed to use up or lose before October.

My only option, was to use it as extra mobile Internet credit.

I don't need this on my mobile tariff, but it would be useful on my laptop, which has a sim loaded with 2GB of data.

Can I swap the sim from my phone and use it in my laptop for extra Internet data?

Both are billed DD by O2.

Thanks.

It will work temporarily but you may see reduced speed.

Prolonged use will see the sim blocked.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Trying to make good use of the £9 credit, as it were and not just making calls etc...for calls sake.

I have unlimited calls, texts and 10+GB in my phone tariff, don't need it here, so that's the problem. 🫤
