I got a google pixel 4a today on 02 refresh plan. I work for the nhs therefor am eligabke for o2 open discount. I registered and followed all the steps. I got the verification email, clicked the link to verify. It then asks which device I would like my discount to be applied to. I click on my mobile number and it then says the discount cannot be applied since I have had my phone since 2019. Do I need to give it more time to recognize my phone has upgraded? Can someone help?

I'd give it 24 to 48 hours for the system to catch up with the upgrade.
