Having added an Apple watch to my account on top of a pay monthly sim, the account still shows that I only owe for my phone plan. So i've rung up customer service & they've told me that the total is never displayed, you have to go into device plans & then it will show you the other amount.
Is this really true? You can't get a total of everything you owe?
oh yeah & the text i got about my bill only gave me the lowdown on my phone plan too!

That's about the sum of it, @Anonymous - the AirTime gives you the bit that might vary, the DevicePlan is a fixed-term credit agreement and never varies.
Guide: How do I get to the 'Download Bill' page?will help yo navigate to the bill that looks like my screenshot.

Hang on so when I get a text saying we are going to take £2.64 from my account.. It's not actually £2.64.. It's the full whack despite no notification of any other amount?
The £2.64 can be variable depending on your spend outside of allowances - O2 are legally obliged to inform you of the amount due 14 days beforehand.
The device cost is fixed each month and there is no legal obligation to tell customers of a fixed cost each month.

The £2.64 is for the plan, not charges outside of.
At least I know now why I see so many people getting behind with payments etc. The billing system is as clear as mud.
