It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.

Scam

O2 pay credits direct to your account shown on Direct Debits or the card used to make payments.

With an over payment of £27 it is more likely that it would be taken off your next bill

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

It looks genuine to me and can see no reason to suspect it's a scam.

Call 202 to be sure and check with customer services.

08448470202 is also a genuine O2 number.
