Data problem

My daughters data has ran out when she has been always using wifi,I added a bolt on yesterday and it has already ran out even though she has been at home with wifi on? Does anyone know why this is? Many thanks

@Joanna1 Hi, are you sure that her phone is connected to the wifi? Try turning mobile data off in the phone settings and see if it is connecting to wifi, also in future when on wifi you can always turn off mobile data to be sure not to use it.

What type of phone does she have @Joanna1 ?

Most have a setting to use data if the WiFi connection is not great - something like WiFi Assist. This will mean that the phone is using data even if connected to WiFi.
