Connecting to wifi via your phone doesn't add any additional charges to your O2 bill but generally speaking wifi is rarely free.

Connecting to wifi via your phone doesn't add any additional charges to your O2 bill but generally speaking wifi is rarely free.

Good point Ryan. You do need to have home wifi access and, for elsewhere, a bolt on applied to your o2 account that allows wifi access, for it to work.

I would say that's an issue with your phone or a faulty hotspot, as McDonald's wi-fi is free for everyone, and nothing to do with O2.
