Have a new mobile (Samsung Galaxy A55) but unable to set up email Outlook. Following the guidance from website but unable to get past step 9 of 34 (Google password?). States email account or password invalid. I can access my Google account and I know the email address is correct. Any help please?

@Paul1960

what type of email address are you trying to setup is it a Google Mail account of another email account, as for Google Mail its a 4 step process with Outlook

https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/set-up-email-in-the-outlook-for-android-app-886db551-8dfa...

If it is saying invalid password then you will need to reset your password..

The new phone is a Samsung Galaxy A55. I am following the o2 guidance from their website specifically for my phone. Page 9 asks for a Google password which I know is correct because I've just changed it.

I would ignore the guide on the o2 website..

If it doesn't pick up the ntlworld.com email servers by autodiscovery then you will need the server addresses and they should be on the virgin media help pages.

The password for ntlword has nothing to do with Google, but is linked to your VM account.

https://community.virginmedia.com/ might have some information as well
