iPhone 5 query

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi guys,
I apologise in advance if this question has been posed before, but I have scoured the forum and cannot find it.
Anyway, back on point; I put forward interest for the 5 (64gb in black) and did not check back as I expected an email notification when preorders became available, as of yet, I'm still waiting on this courtesy.
I am an existing customer of 8 years, and whilst in contact with O2 directly, I was advised that my upgrade would be online only.
Am I correct in thinking I could (as I have done for each iPhone) go down and wait in line and pick one up from an O2 store? I would assume they'll stick with the status quo and still keep stock for the retail stores, no?

Thanks for that buddy, unfortunately it doesn't really quell my enquiry. Having read through the linked Facebook comments, my query still remains unanswered.

Yes you should be able to go into a store and upgrade, subject too stock assuming you are eligible for an upgrade

I have done this in the past without any issues
