i have no credit at the moment and have voicemail which i urgently need to get, can i call my answer phone from my landline

Double Post!

Yes. Switch your phone off and call it from a landline...it will go to voicemail as long as you have turned it on by dialling 1750. When it connects just press the 'star *' button and it will ask for your pin number. Default pin is 8705 if you have not changed it. Then just follow the options.
