Lack of SMS reception rural area

I don't know which board to put this, but this is an issue I have raised in our local O2 shop too. It really exacerbated yesterday's 4G signal issues too,Basically, since the TU app was discontinued, we have no way of receiving text messages at home....

No network for 2 days now!!

Advice!

Hi, Due to the inconvenience caused yesterday, do you think we can get some sort of compensation? My monthly bill for O2 is ridiculous and I won't let it go. Has anyone tried to get anything out of them? Thank you!
