What are the Community's viewers on the T&Cs changes in WhatsApp beginning February 8th which will require users to either allow Facebook access to our data or to delete our account?
And is it correct that everyone in the European region, including the UK, cannot be compelled to accept the new terms and conditions and can continue to use our account?

@G4Grandad
As whatsapp is owned by Facebook, they can do what they want basically, its their service and their rules.
But they have said the following:
"WhatsApp has confirmed that WhatsApp users in the UK and Europe will not have their data shared with Facebook. "

I was using WhatsApp long before it was taken over by them. l'm not a fan of Facebook and have never used it or anything else it owns.
But today is the 8th and it's still working so clearly they can't enforce the new T&C's here in the UK..
Thank you for the swift reply.
