All,

Is it just me or is O2 Customer Service extremely poor??

I've had an O2 phone service for years now, and while the service is working its great.

However, when you need something done/changed and you need to engage Customer Services, then you had better turn to prayer!

Getting through to talk to someone requires a near miracle, and these days O2 try to push you down the Message/ Live Chat route, which is even more frustrating. The say it's like WhatsApp, but I'd say it's more like Why Are You Bothering.

My particular issue is getting a new, replacement SIM registered on a Boost Box, but despite a whole day in queues on the phone, and trying to get a operator to read a message thread properly, I've got nowhere at all.

Major irritation.

Business customer services is on 8002.

Only business sims allowed on a boostbox.

8.00am is the best time to call.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Never had any problems getting through to Enterprise (Business) Customer Services or for that matter Consumer Customer Services...

The issue today has been phone line / Call Centre issues, which to be honest happens to the best of call centres...

I used to have a Business Account, and during that time O2 supplied the Boostbox as I'm in a poor reception area. However, i moved to Pay Monthly consumer contracts for all phones about 5 years ago but O2 have continued to register new consumer SIMs on the Boostbox every year since.

The rules have changed in the last year or so, so only business sims can be registered to the boost boxes, and o2 removed them completely from the consumer market...

And the only team who can add sims to it are business customer services... (supposedly)...
