My daughter is working in the US for 3 months this summer. Any advice on the most cost effective tariffs or charges to be aware of? Thanks

It will depend on what tariff she has with O2

USA - Roaming with O2 

I would suggest getting a local.SIM on T-Mobile or AT&T but use something like WhatsApp over wifi to ring home for free

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
