Not everybody cares to make sure you are not paying more if forced to move to a newer product:

I guess people should be thankful for small mercies 😖😉

Do they have ridiculous annual price rises though?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Nope, but they have stupid charges,

$6 per line if you dont use AutoPay (aka US Version of Direct Debit) and they charge a $35 dollar connection fee, plus these fees...

 Monthly Regulatory Programs (RPF) & Telco Recovery Fee (TRF) totaling $3.49 per voice line

And they do this rubbish, no matter how much data you use

uring congestion, Magenta customers using >100GB/mo. may notice reduced speeds until next bill cycle due to data prioritization; video typically streams on smartphone/tablet in SD quality. Essentials customers may notice speeds lower than other customers and further reduction if using >50GB/mo., due to data prioritization. Video typically streams on smartphone/tablet in SD quality; Magenta Max, Go5G Plus, & Go5G Next: activate up to 4K UHD streaming on capable device, or video typically streams in SD. Go5G: During congestion, customers on this plan using >100GB/mo. may notice reduced speeds until next bill cycle due to data prioritization. Activate up to HD streaming on capable device, or video typically streams in SD

AT&T and Verizon are the same and US Plans are expensive...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Well, what a load of drivel @pgn

Like so:
As noted by The Mobile Report, customer support representatives will attempt to convince users about the benefits of the new plan. "We are not raising the price of any of your plans; we are moving you to a newer plan with more benefits at a different cost," T-Mobile instructs employees to say.

Do they honestly think people are dead from the neck up?? 🙄😠

@madasaf1sh

I think that we tend to forget how expensive calling/data plans are in the US - and what a good deal we get in the UK !

But our handsets are more expensive ?
