I note that Orange, Vodaphone, T-Mobile and 3 already have this....

From what I've heard o2 don't have any plans to launch this. It's apparently not all that popular on the other networks and when a lot of people try to use it at once it really jams up the data networks 😞

Yes, it's not really caught on. But then neither has DVB-H. Its something that sounds good but in practice is ultimately not.
