I have received a text message from UK-O2, asking me to pay my bill via a link or telephone call. This is not normal as the usual text comes from O2UK and does not tell me my account number or ask me to pay in this way. I have paid the normal way via the app. Please be suspicious if you get similar

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.

Thanks for drawing that to everyone's attention. We seem to live in an age that you have to regard every communication as a potential scam. An unexpected text asking you to do something different or unusual is an immediate red flag !
