Poor service

I have been trying to get my mobile number transferred to my new SIM and during 2 chat sessions have been told this can take up to 24 hours. That was 3 days ago! Is this ineptitude typical of O2?

@Anonymous Transfers don't happen over the weekends. If it was initiated Friday, it will probably transfer today. If it doesn't, speak to someone in Customer Service. Don't rely on Live Chat.

Just for clarity, is this a port in from another network or an o2 to o2 sim swap ?
