O2 calendar not recognising my mobile as O2

Anonymous
Not applicable
Just got a simplicity sim & transferred my old number over to O2. Everything was completed yesterday, when I log in my account shows my number to be on O2 but the calendar is still saying (Non O2) next to it & therefore won't let me set reminders.

I've tried deleting the calendar & setting it up again today but it's still saying Non O2.

Can anyone help me with this

I have had this several times with this website not recognising my phone as an O2 number.

Possibly because I ported my number from Virgin?

So I tried it over several days and all of a sudden it just worked!

Suggest a call to CS may help.

Even this forum isn't working properly now.

I've ported from Virgin as well, I've sent an email off to CS & I'll just keep checking to see what it says, hopefully like yours it will finally get around to knowing it is actually an O2 number!

You will be better off to phone CS, they get so many emails that a reply may be a long time coming. 😐

Having only just moved to O2 what number do I ring & is it free to ring from my mobile?

Only number I've found previously was an 0870 number 😞

Spooky.... Just checked my calendar again & it's saying O2! Either they actioned my email (rather quickly) or it's just sorted itself!!

Thanks for all the advice appreciate it
