It was my understanding that the EDGE network was faster than the standard 2G network, but obviously not as fast as 3G.
Every time my iPhone 4S connects to an EDGE network, whether it be West London, Alton Towers, or as over this weekend Long Marston airfield - the connection is so painfully slow. Even iMessage won't work, and all webpages time out. When I do a speedtest on the network speed, even this times out. Any ideas?
