I note this is now 12 months since last update.
About Time o2 caught up with the others Vodafone weekly update!!!
I know o2 do not read here just felt like sharing.

I thought the date was the date that the map data was updated not the date that the coverage data was updated?
Though that's not based on anything other than my own impression.

When looking at it last year it coincided within a month or so with coverage data for 2 areas that got 3g
as per this getsatisfaction thread http://getsatisfaction.com/o2/topics/no ... leeds_area
The latest sep 2009 for my area has an aditional area to the east (did not post on getsatisfaction)

Though that's not based on anything other than my own impression.

The map specifically says "Coverage last updated 24 Sept 2009". We can infer one of two things:
1. O2 haven't made any significant improvements to coverage in the last year, or
2. O2 don't care about telling their customers enough to do anything.
As 3G coverage is still one of the big problems of O2, either way, it's not good.

Up-to-date coverage and looks much better than the old version!
