O2 Business Blog: get your business to a festival

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi guys,

Another interesting article on the O2 Business Blog about how to get your business to a festival.

"You might be a seasoned small business specialising in catering or crafts, or perhaps you’re just starting out and need a little help as the summer season approaches – in either case, getting a trade stand at a festival can be intimidating. It’s also a significant business decision in terms of your time and money – so we’ve done our research to try to make the process a little more straightforward."

These would be the steps you should follow:

  1. Find a festival
  2. Do the maths
  3. Prep your paperwork
  4. Sort your social
  5. Set up your stall
  6. Organise your hours
  7. Do up your display
  8. Master your marketing

Read more about this here.

Any festival recommendations for this summer?

My son reckons there is only one festival worth going to and that's Glastonbury. He is going again this year and taking both kids.. ....If only I did festivals. The Who are headlining this year....:smileywink:

He would go bust anyway...as his 'business plan' would go out of the window once there. Any stall of his would be unattended ...as he would be watching all the groups...Dance

Can't fault him for that. slight_smile

I'm annoyed that I never went when I lived in Wiltshire, I went to Worthy Farm, Pilton to service the heating regularly, and it was free entry to the festival back then. Happy Dance
