Hi

I am also overwhelmed with calls originating from O2 customer service (at least deemed to be introducing themselves) offering discounted rates insisting writing a new contract, the numbers originate from +44 113 534 7976, +44 161 524 0104, +44 2045155273, +44 20 4515 5273, +44 20 4515 5273, they all introduce themselves with their names as working for O2 customer service, offering a better contract than what I have now. I am a Virgmedia customer forcibly migrated to O2 service. The calls are really annoying taking so much of my time during driving and working, don't know what to do, once block one number another few pops up from all over UK, never ending saga.

Just scamming scumbags trying to catch people out @Arum2007

Just keep blocking and ignore them until they move on.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Arum2007

They are well known scam callers. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do except block the numbers and report them free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information or give any code they send you and then ask for.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@Arum2007

No need to cross post this everywhere..

I will share what I have shared on another post you made.. and the advice form @MI5 @Bambino is the best way to deal with these people..

These are spam calls, and NOT O2 and are been generated by the spammers using the publicly available Virgin Mobile Dial plans,

just report each on to o2 using the menu in your phone if on Android or to 7726 Phishing, Smishing & Scams. Latest info & advice.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I have also had these calls weekly since the switchover.

I am sure that virgin customers details have been leaked to indian spam call centers as I am not the only person I know that are getting these from the similar numbers you identified above since the switch to O2.

They keep coming because O2 customers appear to be easy pickings giving away OTP codes they are specifically told not to.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
