I have not had a mobile signal since before 7th July. It's fortunate for O2 that I've got a computer and get my broadband and landline from BT. Consequently, I have to use the WiFi provided by BT. I still pay for my mobile minutes to O2 though. How's that right?

@Patc Have you checked to see if there is a faulty mast? https://status.o2.co.uk have you reported the fault through the my network app? You could call customer service to report it.

Possibly a SIM card failure?
Ask your local O2 shop for a free SIM swap.

Yes, thank you. O2 are well aware of it and up to last week, they were updating me more or less weekly with a "No progress" report. Then when I checked last week with Status, I read that a phone mast near me is not working.

@Patc They may have been waiting for parts to come or permission to access the land which the mast is on before mending it. O2 do not give out timescales for repairs

@Patc Considering the length of time you've been without a signal, O2 should address that with compensation. You need to call customer service again. Should they be unable or unwilling to offer you some sort of goodwill gesture, you should think about lodging a complaint. https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

If a complaint is made then admin can't help. Not too sure they could help with this at all. Best option is the complaints route and make out grounds to leave the contract without penalty. Then tie in with BT.
