Do not upgrade or buy a phone and trust "next day delivery" if submitted before midnight. I submitted mine many hours before and they never honour it. The internet is riddled with posts saying the same. The more accurate description is 1-5 working days and if O2 mess up you'll have to negotiate with DPD so just don't bother.

They've credited me £10 credit for messing up but I've lost more than £65 per day I have to work from home while waiting for it as I can't attend client meetings. They should not make promises they have no intention of respecting but they will do it to make a quick sale.

Yes the biggest enticements to order a phone - in stock and next day delivery if ordered before midnight

O2 have never had a live stock system so completely misleading and unacceptable expectations when ordering a phone from them
