Hmmm. Not sure. I know you can get one online definately!
But I went into my local store earlier and they said they'll upgrade me and send me away with a new Palm Pre on the same day.

You may need to call your local o2 store. Click here to find your local store and telephone number

I had a play with the Palm Pre instore today and, to be honest, I'm a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong the WebOS is innovative and (contrary to some reviews) I found it quite intuative. The ability to 'multi-app' is a fantastic step forward and switching between them is easy.

However the handset itself feels plasticky and the slider mechanism doesn't feel very sturdy at all.

It's a case of what could have been....

Yeah, I get that.

It's the qwerty for me, found it very hard to use.

The OS is great though!

I had a play with one today and thought the same, felt cheap and was not a nice looking phone at all but the OS is fab and love all the features, especially the activity cards, its so easy to use as well.

How is it not a nice looking phone? I far prefer the form factor of the Pre to the other generic thin and long smartphones that are on the market.

Had a look at the Palm Pre, nice OS but how do they think this phone is going to last 24 Months! Slider really loose and just look at the buttons at the top of the phone, I've seen better hardware on toys in the pound shop and whats with a loose plastic switch for putting the phone on silent when there is a nice touch screen, mad.

Any way the biggest thing of all is No VIDEO RECORDING! Lets go forwards not backwards 02.

I do hope the Palm Pre does well - it deserves to, it has a great unique UI which shows Apple a thing or two - it's not only simple, but has many added bonus' and looks great.

I think Apple need to go down this route, i'm tired of not being able to run more than one App at a time - the Pre's card function is amazing.

I also think the iPhone needs more social networking integration, in order that all means of s.networking is constantly live and up to date - what the Pre does so well.

It takes time to create a comprehensive App Store, give it a few months and the Palm Pre will be the strong contender.

I have read many comments on the Hardware, to which I cannot comment on myself as I am yet to see it in the flesh ( will try today though) but I will post once I have.

If anything it can't be as bad as what people are suggesting.
