When I do this for family members who are on PAYG...I just ring the top up line 4444 and key in the number of the mobile I want to top up using a card I have registered. I do this frequently for my son. He just gives me the money.....I do the the top up...

Is that method mentioned in your guide?

No...because I discovered I could do it after I actually did the guide. Bearing in mind I am on contract and from my phone I dialled the PAYG top up number. I obviously had to register one of my debit cards for the first time but now I just use the same card and it's a 5 minute job.

I would add it to the guide but not sure it would work for everyone. I was payg till 2013. Once on contract with DD set up... I have never missed a payment..It is another option though....?

My son gets the text immediately I have topped up for him.

I know you can do it on giffgaff so I assume it's the same on o2.
Might be worth asking @Toby to check and add it if possible to do.

Well I know it's possible as I do it for my lad. Not sure whether it will always be possible for others though?

That's what I meant for Toby to find out.
"Can anyone call the top up line and top up a different phone number"
I assume yes but need clarification.

It certainly would help those who are abroad and run out of credit . (I have done it whilst in the UK and my son in my apartment in Spain)...

Hi @MI5 and @Cleoriff, I'll get the below question clarified for you. Any others you need while I am asking?:

Can anyone call the top up line and top up a different phone number?
