Hi. This is my first time in this forum. I am going to America in May and once I get through customs I need to ring my friend's cell phone. Is there a code I need to put before the number?

You need to dial 001 + City Area Code + Number, ie 001 445 1234

Is your friend using a UK mobile or a USA mobile?
