Why don't o2 start a service on pay as you go alones you call and text other people that are on o2 for free.

They used to have free O2-O2 calls and texts on certain tariffs, maybe @Marjo can feed this back.

Free inter network calls are just a gimmick to get you to sign up your friends to the same network as it costs the network the same as a call across networks.

It’s call unlimited calls & texts now I think. Most tariffs do this
