Been with virgin for 20 years got moved to o2 by them ,within a week got scammed iPhone sent to me I did not order customer service help worse than useless scammers are so integrated with o2 impossible to tell who is who.
Returned the iPhone but my account still shows I owe for it.
Now my phone has stopped working because they've put a bar on the number.
Called this morning was told can't help try again in 4 hours.
I've now stopped all direct debits to o2 and going to the ee shop up the rd

Sorry to hear you were scammed, as customers we can only offer advice.
One important question. Did you return the phone in the official package sent by O2. Scammers are known to use false addresses to get access to your phone.
This is the advice we can give
The last link is to Action Fraud...report there too
https://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/phishing-and-smishing-advice
https://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/unwanted-calls-and-messages
https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
The worse thing you can do is cancel your direct debit. Even though you are in dispute O2 will place you in arrears, eventually passing things on to Debt Recovery... bang goes your credit rating

Sadly, other networks will if you try to get a contact. A fact of life these days.
