Yesterday i texted 02 for the web bolton so i could browse internet with my mobile.
A few hours later I got back a text saying I couldn't use it with my tariff.

What tariffs do you need to make you acceptable to use the web bolton?
my tariff is 02 £35 12 month, and I can claim back £320 odd quid or something through redemption.

As far as i'm aware, Bolt-Ons are for pay as you go customers, not contract.

When did you start your £35 12 month tariff ?

as it says on the link above "These Bolt Ons are available to new and upgrading customers who connected to one of our new tariffs from 1 February 2008. If you're an O2 customer, or if you upgraded before this date, and would like to buy a Bolt On, just speak to "

As Adam was saying you need to be on a tariff that's from February 2008 onwards, older tariffs won't work with the current bolt ons but o2 can usually move you to a similar modern equivalent of what you already have.

However, it may also be that you have your contract through the carphone warehouse? If so you may be on their own billing system and not o2 direct. If so you'd need to contact them directly to have a bolt on added.
