I see that big bundles on o2 now have less text and mins but included data has gone up https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go/ the £15 bundle use to have 750 mins now only has 250 mins a loss of 500 mins but a gain of 2gb of data i think this is a big mistake as over on three all bundles have 3000 mins and 3000text regardless of price and also now more data,

As I'm on a 12 month sim only contract ...I cant comment on the price of Big Bundles as I have never had reason to use them @la7. All I can say is, that's a bit of a price hike! A bit like the price of Mars bars costing more, with less chocolate (which is becoming a common occurrence!!)

Surely most customers want more data than talk time these days?

some people will want more data but the drop in the mins and text is huge only 250 text on the £15 bundle now and it was keeps quite maybe the other o2 brands giff gaff and part own tesco mobile where complaining about the good allowances and had to lower them

o2 now

£15 big bundle 250 mins & text 4gb data / was 750mins & 2000 texts

£20 big bundle 250 mins & text 6gb data / was 1500 mins & 4000 texts

£25 big bundle 500 mins & text 8gb data / was 3000 mins & 4000 texts

vs

Three

£15 all-in-one 3000 mins & text 5gb data

£20 all-in-one 3000 mins & text 12gb data

£25 all-in-one 3000 mins & text 30gb data

Looks like a huge loss in payg customers on the way for o2 if you was on the £25 big bundles you loose a wopping 2500 mins per month

All depends on individuals usage I guess.
Some win, some lose and enough choice out there for everyone.

Would be good if you could buy your mins text and data on there own in separate packages, We have classic payg which is a good tariff calls are only 5p text are 5p but data bolt ons are too expensive and too small on that tariff

Most people want data nowadays but if they want to talk or message they use services like FB Messenger, WhatsApp or Skype

That's exactly why I have my Three 3,2,1 sim.

To me they are far less competitive now compared to other networks and MVNOs. Yes people want data these days but even the bigger allowances offer less value for money in comparison. Still, their business plan I suppose.
