A good heads up @adamtemp64, and goes back to the age old advice: DO NOT SPEAK TO COLD CALLERS, no matter who they say they are. Always be on guard.

There would not be any problems like this if people followed common sense.

we are talking the general public and vulnerable people so fraudsters will always try to take advantage. They are good at what they do. Most people on here know not to respond to cold calls but even a 1% success rate keeps them in luxury.

It's a never ending battle. All we, and sites that alert people to fraud can do is make people aware, and advise them not to speak to cold callers, but some will always get through.
