Good job really the phone was broken and not lost, oh and as it went through to an agent... It cut off.

Talking to a couple of call centre providers  and agents, this is going to get worse as they can't recruit, as nobody wants to work for around minimum wage and get abused 99% of the time by members of the public... So o2 wont be immune from this lack of workforce... 

Telefonica already had a complete BOT IVR for Customer services ready to go, so this might be on the way....

I work in IT as an Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Tools Administrator (Office 365, Slack and much much more) and manage hardware both Mobile and Desktop / laptop, my desk is a bit like PC World

They are canny enough, the old double-tap to pick up the call, which uncannily cuts it off... 😲😁
