I've just noticed I get this sometimes in Sheffield now.

But running Speedtest shows no difference in speed over what it was with normal 4G?

getting about 30-40MBps down and 10/20 up?

I'd assumed it should be faster?

@aca95pks in theory it should be but as your in a big city. There will be congestion on the networks with so many people using it so it will slow down

@aca95pks According to this article https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/maps-and-graphics/countries-with-the-best-4g-coverage/ the average speed in the UK is only 21.16Mbps, so I think you should count yourself lucky that you're getting the speed you have.:smileywink:

As @Anonymous has mentioned, @aca95pks the number of people using the network will have a dramatic effect on speed.

Try a test early morning when everyone is in bed and see what you get then.

4G+ just means your phone is using 2 or more different carriers. It's usually deployed in high load areas so you may or may not see a speed increase. It's more for balancing capacity.
