I had a call from 08000641087. The number came on my screen as 'O2 Insurance'. They said they are O2. They knew my name, address, the handset I have, that I am with O2 for long..    When I 'chat' with O2 I was told that it was not them they called.  I am a bit confused!?!

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi perksie, do you have a link to that "opt out".
All I can find is the following, no "opt out" but 28 day to take effect if you can find it. wink

How do I opt in and out of marketing messages from O2?
We may use your details for marketing purposes to tell you about other O2 products, offers and services if you tell us we can. If you don’t want to receive these marketing communications, you can click on the unsubscribe link in our emails. If you’re an O2 mobile customer, you can update your choices by signing into your My O2 account and go to the ‘My Choices’ page or by calling 2220. If you’re not an O2 mobile customer give us a call and we’ll update your details. Changes to your preferences can take up to 28 days to take effect.
