02 Unlimited Data Plan

Anonymous
Not applicable

I really think 02 should bring back the Unlimited Data Plan. Many carriers (Orange, Tmobile, 3,) have unlimited data plans. I find this very fustraiting when im out of data, and also when I see these TV adverts from netflix saying "Watch tv on the move" bloody hell if I did that my data would be gone before the end of the programme. Please take this feedback and do something about it, we are in the year 2012 now and everyone is uploading, download, watching, playing, sharing.

no chance. all the UK carriers have a fup even if its unlimited.data is the new cash cow , so when 4g is rolled out they will force everyone on to broadband like limits. eg 10 /20g etc

If this happens I will be very disapointed. I may just move to 3 network because they have All-You-Can-Eat data. It's a shame because with technology moving forward we need more data to power all these features.

I agree. even us with legacy data tariffs won't allowed to use it on 4g I don't think. we will need gigs of data to use mobiles as we want.
but I think for now o2 won't bring back unlimited.
not sure what 3 are like, don't know anyone on it. is it any good?

I used 3 network when I first got my Ipad and had unlimited data which worked very well. I then sold my Ipad and purchased a portable modem with unlimited data, once again worked perfectly fine. Then took up a contract with 02 for my Samsung GS2 and realised the data is only 500mb but I wasn't prepared to pay extra for 1gb as that would run out very quickly too. Before my GS2 I had blackberry on unlimited internet but ovcourse blackberry was soo slow I never made the full benefit of my unlimited lol.

3 of my family have Three phones and they say the phone coverage is just as good as O2 was for them. 3g is the best of the lot. I've just ordered an iphone 5 from Three. Better signal in the house (got a FREE Home Signal Box from them - not £150 like O2 or even £50 from Voda for their offerings). Also saved £10 a month for a comparable contract to my old O2 one. I know a few people on Three and no complaints from any of them.
