O2 sold me a iPhone “like new” but after less of 4 month the iPhone not working anymore, is totally frozen, the iPhone is in perfect condition, I sent the device to repair center and they told me I have to pay almost £600 for repair because is no under warranty 😕 so I have around 3 month with this device... if I want cancel the contract with them I have to pay £500 for the rest of the contract.... so is normal? They sold me a demaged device and I have to pay for that? I can’t believe O2 never lost, the people have to read this before buy any mobile in O2

@GwynH @Jon26

Like new devices have the balance of Apple warranty with apple or 12 months with O2.

O2 will replace or repair if less than 12 months since you had it from them.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

buying as an as new devices as @MI5 has said comes with 12mths o2 warranty.

You MUST go through o2 for service.

If you take it to an Apple Store they will charge you for the repair, this is the same as buying from other 3rd Parties.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Correct @madasaf1sh

As I said, Apple will honour the balance of any warranty remaining but to get the full 12 months, you must go through O2.
