Employee left - how to kill off his old number?

Hi,

Hope someone here can help me as I've drawn a blank on the 'help' pages etc.  Here's my question:

An employee has left the business. He doesn't want to take his number with him, and there's no point in the business keeping paying the standing charge for a number we don't need.

Is there a simple way of deactivating the number online, or do I have to talk to the call centre?   The latter is a pain for me because I'm currently on the other side of the world and the business call centre only seems to be open UK business hours.

Thanks in advance

Martin
