I took out a 12 month sim to get internet when not at home problem is the sim picks up wi-fi with the wifes phone but not mine we both have iphone 8 all settings seem the same on both phones

Are you on about o2 WiFi? or do you mean 4G coverage as they are different technologies.

I am nearly 70 so not that good with technology I connect to the internet at home via my talk talk but wanted internet when fishing on the pier so bought a 20 Gb sim but it won’t connect with my phone but does with the wife’s so wonder if something is wrong with my phone or just a settings problem

Settings >Mobile data and make sure the switch at the top is green.

Then scroll down and make sure the switches are green for the things you want to use mobile data for.

Finally, if still no good, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Tried but no joy when I get a chance I will go to O2 shop and see if the staff can assist thank you all for the help
