just been informed that now I have upgraded from iphone 6 to 7, can no longer use it as a lead device in a sharer plan ????

When you upgrade it all starts as new I'm afraid - It would need to be set up as lead device again.
Not sure what you mean by "only applies to iPhone7" though?

Did you ask for it to be made the lead device when you upgraded?

upgraded online, just been told it only applies to ipone 7...wtf

 

since i was already on a sharer plan, with it set up as a lead device...didnt see any need to..especially as the refresh seperates the tariff from the phone....

yeah, no problem setting it up from scratch..

 

they are saying that i cant though because you cant use the iphone 7 as a lead device...

basically everytime you speak to some one you get a different story..

 

ive had..."your not on a sharer tarriff"

"we dont do sharer tariffs any more"

and now.."not on an iphone 7"

 

not counting the times ive been told...yes its all set up..wait 24 /48 hours....and guess what..!!!Crazy

Totally unacceptable. I am fairly positive that far more training is needed on Sharer Plans. Why it isn't available for iphone 7 I don't know. Maybe because they give 'special' high data tariffs for iphone?

worked fine on an iPhone 6 plus - on a 20GB tariff..

they just don't have the training....

Exactly....but trying to find someone in customer services who understand sharer tariffs...and doesn't just come up with nonsense excuses....is making my head hurt.....

Yes, we find they have generally no idea about them.
Have you looked in your MyO2 to see if you can set it yourself?
