iphone 6 and plus refresh unlock

if i buy the iphone 6 and request the unlock code straight away will it be accepted or is it 6 months again?

No one knows.
Last year they made you wait unless you paid off the handset cost fully.

usually if you pay the refresh off which you can do as soon as you receive it they unlock but as we know iphone can be different

This did cause a bit of frustration for iphone 5s owners last year.

 

Some managed to unlock after paying the handset plan off and some didnt.

 

Are you wanting to unlock the iPhone 6 for a particular reason may I ask ?

its not for me i have bought mine sim free, a friend was asking the best way to unlock to use a three sim

as you know theres a wait now on both and o2 refresh is another way of getting the device and maybe getting it unlocked and £10 cheaper than sim free

However i think you know now its going to be a problematic option through 02 for unlocking.
