Hi I'm new here and just wanted some advice on the open discount for the iPhone 6S, I've seen that you have to wait for 6 months after the phone has come out but can anyone tell me when this date is?

Not until O2 say so - it's roughly 6 months not exactly.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

However, no phone restrictions mentioned in the current T&C's https://o2open.co.uk/O2Open/servlets/ShowFAQ so might be worth a call to cs to check http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

It's usually around this time of year when they drop the restrictions and start unlocking too.

Hi thanks I had noticed that. A few weeks ago I did find the restriction somewhere but can't find it again.

Give cs a call - they will be best placed to tell you but don't use live chat !

The iPhone 6s is available now on the open discount, given the scheme changes recently i'm hoping they will reduce or stop having handsets on the list... one can dream 🙂

I agree but sadly I don't think O2 will ever stop using top end phones (I include iphones very loosely) to maximise profits for 6 months wink
