iPhone 6

I bought an iPhone 6 in November 2014, I have also o2 insurance on it. The phone battery is giving me problems, it drains no matter what I do to save energy. Is this problem covered?

Apple should be your first port of call for a diagnostic check.
Book an appointment with your nearest stores genius bar.

Go straight to Apple. They will likely let you buy a replacement phone for a charge as the phone is out of warranty

My point of getting apple to run a diagnostic was to confirm the battery capacity first before deciding on next steps.

True but Apple will most likely offer a swap of some kind

It would be cheaper to get a phone shop to fit a new battery than paying apple or paying insurance excess if indeed a new battery is required.
