how to get rid of share your data feature

Anonymous
Not applicable

My son has this on his O2 acct (iphone 5c) and he's got through his data in a matter of a few days this month despite being well trained about using wifi. I spoke to live chat who recommended switching off this feature which apparently allows other family members to use your data (unknowingly.) However can't see a way of switchign it off?

Thanks

Johanna

The only way this is possible is if you have a shared data tariff and you have included other members. You can remove them in your MyO2 if this is the case.
More likely is the ios feature to use data if WiFi is slow which can be turned off in the phones setting menu.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Would that feature be the much maligned WiFi Assist @MI5?
