Unlock code

I have given my old phone to a friend and I need the unlock code for that phone, but not mine, both are the same model - 5s.  What's the best way to do this?

You need to use the IMEI of the phone you need to unlock on the manual form method.

I've looked at the form, but it looks like it would unlock my current phone isntead of my old one that I've given away - I just want to be sure it's the right one that's unlocked.  How can I make sure the right device is unlocked?
