I don't know if this is just me or if it is supposed to be like that but is anyone having any problems using Touch ID/Fingerprint with Apple/iTunes purchases?

I thought that Touch ID can be used when purchasing items in iTunes to avoid having to put password in on every occasions, but it only works once and then it asks for my password again to re-establish it.  I have amended my settings to allow the Touch ID to be used instead of passwords.

Is anybody else having this issue or is it supposed to be like that?

I've had the same issue, delete your prints and scan your fingers again.

I did it that way and have no problems whatsoever now

Hi

I recently had some problems with the Touch ID on my 5s

Either it wouldn't recognize my finger or had to press 3 times before my phone got unlocked

@Anonymous decided to ask @adamtemp64 for help

He told me to clean the sensor with a dry cloth, and if that fails, to remove my finger and relearn it

Did that and now it works really well, recognizes my print the first time slight_smile

So if any of you are having similar issues, try that and I'm sure it will help.

Many thanks to Adam again

I'm sure they'll be fine as long as they don't remove any fingers wink
