Roaming data

I am a business customer and have always had access to roaming data. I came to France three days ago and I am told I do not have any data access. Why has my contract changed ? Is it because I have bought a new phone? This should not make any difference to my contract!

i have tried to get on line to 'speak with a guru' and it has been impossible. I have access to wifi at the moment but urgently need roaming data because of moving around. 

This whole thing is SO frustrating

You should have roaming data so I can only assume that something on your account is not set up correctly, ie wrong bolt on etc.
Also check the phone settings to make sure roaming is enabled in there.
